Air pollution is the activity of harmful or excessive quantities of substances including gases, particles, and biological molecules are introduced into Earth's atmosphere.  It may cause different diseases, allergies and even death to humans and it may harm the other living organisms such as animals and food crops and may damage the natural or built environment.  Air pollution is the resultant of the admixture of various harmful gases in the atmosphere or finely dispersed liquid aerosols at rates that exceed the natural capacity of the environment to dissipate and dilute or absorb them. These substances may reach concentrations in the air that cause undesirable health, economic, or aesthetic effects.  It is a mixture of natural and man-made substances in the air we breathe.  It is typically separated into two categories: outdoor air pollution and indoor air pollution. Earthquake:         Earthquake is the sudden and rapid shaking or rolling of the Earth’s surface caused by the release of stress stored in rocks. It is an incidence of tremors / lateral movement or ground displacement caused by pressure dynamics within and below the earth's crust or due to volcanic activity. It is the tremors which are produced by the passage of vibratory waves through the rocks of the earth. The vibration or shaking of the earth’s crust proceeds in the form of waves from the centre of the disturbance.                   The surface where they slip is called the fault or fault plane . What is Strait:         A strait is a thin channel of a waterway that connects two large water bodies having some characteristics like –  Formed by natural processes Narrower than the seas it connects Navigable         It most commonly refers to a channel of water that lies between two land masses. Major straits of the world are generally used by commercial shipping to travel from one sea or exclusive economic zone to another and they are of immense strategic and commercial importance. They also serve as a channel through which ocean currents pass modifying the climate of that area. It is seen that In these reasons straits play an important role in physical and human geography. In the early 13th century, there was a small kingdom of Tai people named Mong Mao , related to the Shan, in present-day Yunnan Province , China. In 1228, the Mong Mao prince Chao-lung Sukaphaa decided to move into a new house, in a new region, far away from the current kingdom, with a vast new river and a fresh new mountain range. Therefore, he, along with his 3 wives , 2 sons, 2elephants, 5nobles , 300 horses and about 9000 followers, mostly men went all the way across the Patkai hills and entered the beautiful valley by the Brahmaputra river. They called it Mung-Dun-Chun-Kham , the golden land (the magnificent kingdom of Assam). Sukaphaa established his capital at Charaideo near present-day Sivasagar in 1253 and began the task of state formation. The Ahom kingdom then consolidated its power, building their kingdom for the next 600 years.  The Ahoms have their own religion, even though most of the Ahoms have converted to Hinduism. Their religion is called Phuralung. Phura
